Brock Lesnar has retired from professional wrestling. The 49-year-old confirmed it on The Pat McAfee Show on 4 August 2026, three days after losing to Oba Femi in a Hell in a Cell match at SummerSlam in Minneapolis.

SummerSlam was held at U.S. Bank Stadium, Minneapolis, on 1 August 2026. Lesnar faced Oba Femi inside Hell in a Cell and lost, a result that put Femi firmly among WWE’s top stars.

Lesnar appeared on The Pat McAfee Show and said plainly that he was retired, thanking fans for their support. He described himself as a farm kid from South Dakota who had big dreams.
