Editorial Policy
This page explains how KhelGossip researches, writes, checks and updates its articles, and what to do if you think we have got something wrong.
Who writes our articles
Our articles are written by Pankaj Belwal and Abhay Kumar. Every article shows its writer. KhelGossip is run by RK Jajoria and Vikas Pundora and is a brand of Phpyouth Software Solutions Pvt. Ltd. More about the team is on our About page.
Sources
We base our reporting on:
- Official results, rankings and announcements from governing bodies, leagues, tournaments and organisers.
- Official statements from teams, players and their representatives.
- Reporting by established news organisations, credited by name.
Every article ends with the date it was last updated and the sources we used. We do not present another publication’s reporting as our own.
Checking facts
- Scores, dates, statistics and quotes are checked against a primary or named source before publication.
- If sources disagree on a detail and we cannot confirm it, we leave it out rather than guess.
- We do not publish rumours as facts. If we report something that is not confirmed, we say so and name who reported it.
Keeping articles up to date
When facts change, we update the existing article and its “Updated” date rather than publishing a new article on the same subject. Pages that are no longer accurate or useful are removed or merged into a better page.
Corrections
If we get a fact wrong, we correct it as soon as we confirm the error and update the date on the page. For a significant error, such as a wrong result or a misattributed quote, we add a note at the end of the article explaining what changed. Minor fixes to spelling or formatting are made without a note.
To report an error, email contact@khelgossip.com with the page link and the correct information, ideally with a source.
Independence
Our coverage is decided by what is newsworthy and useful to readers. KhelGossip does not currently publish sponsored content. If we ever do, it will be clearly labelled as sponsored.
Use of AI tools
We may use AI tools to help with research, organising information and editing. They do not replace our writers. Every fact in a published article is checked against a source by the writer before publication, and we do not publish AI-generated quotes, statistics or claims that have not been verified.
Opinion and analysis
Most of what we publish is factual reporting. Where an article includes analysis or opinion, we make that clear in the wording.

Complaints about our content can be raised with our Grievance Officer, RK Jajoria, at the same address with the subject “Grievance”. We acknowledge within 24 hours and aim to resolve within 15 days.
