India at the Asian Games 2026

India will enter Aichi-Nagoya 2026 as one of Asia’s leading sporting nations. The currently confirmed programme includes both Indian cricket teams, the men’s and women’s hockey and kabaddi teams, the men’s volleyball team, the women’s rugby sevens team, four sepaktakraw entries and selected recurve and compound archers.

In women’s cricket, India have been drawn against Japan in the quarterfinal. The men’s cricket team are seeded directly into the knockout stage and will begin in the quarterfinals on 28 or 29 September. India’s hockey men are placed in Pool A, while the women are in Pool B.

Why exact India match timings are not shown yet

The organisers have published the sport calendar and team draws, but several match orders and session times remain pending. The IOA has also not released one final consolidated list covering every Indian athlete and individual event. Publishing unconfirmed times would therefore be misleading.

This page will remain structured around official information: confirmed opponent, competition window, medal date and venue. Session times can be inserted into the existing cards once released.
